Working with National Institute of Technology NIT - Japan

On 09/01/2018, the delegation of the National Institute of Technology NIT Japan visited and worked at the School. Hue Industrial College was one of the four schools under the Ministry of Industry and Trade selected to participate in the project to promote the application of KOSEN training model sponsored by JICA. Since 2018, this project will continue to be under the direct consultation of National Technological NIT - Japan.

Leading National Technology Advisor NIT - Japan is Professor Kazuhide Sugimoto, International Affairs Manager, Global Strategic Planning and Facility Manager, National Institute of Technology NIT - Japan. Joining the delegation were Dr. Yoshikazu Hitaka, Vice President of UBE, a member of the NIT and representatives of UBE and Dr. Yoichi Nakano, a JICA-Japan expert.

At the meeting, Dr. Cung Trong Cuong, Principal of Hue Industrial College, emphasized the objectives of cooperation with NIT - Japan and especially emphasized on the following contents: Continue to promote and enhance perceptions of faculty, students in 5S issues and occupational safety; Promote cooperation with businesses especially in cooperation with Japanese enterprises; Continuing to promote the improvement of KOSEN training programs in line with the characteristics and situation of Vietnam in general and Hue Industrial College in particular. NIT Advisors recommends supporting lean management models for school administration in the near future. On the NIT - Japan side, Prof. Kazuhide Sugimoto highly appreciated the results achieved after nearly 2 years of KOSEN project implementation at the school and strongly supported the continued support of the Hue Industrial College ,A typical example of applying the KOSEN model in Central Vietnam.


After the meeting, Prof. Kazuhide Sugimoto and his team members went to the labs to visit the practice rooms at the school's campuses.
